| Lot 103 | A worksplate, KITSON & Co, 1918. In 1918 Kitson constructed 32 2-8-0 locos for the ROD which were numbered 1691 to 1632 (works numbers 5183 to 5194 and 5199 to 5218) and also examples for the Furness Railway and India. Although there is no direct evidence, it is highly likely that this plate is from one of the ROD locos. Cast iron, 10¾"x6½", repainted. £350-500 |
