| Lot 479 | A smokebox numberplate, 47299, from a LMS Class 3F 0-6-0T No 7139 built by Hunslet, Works No 1464, in 1924. It was renumbered 7299 in 1934 and became BR 47299. At Northampton by January 1935, it spent almost all of the remainder of its working life there before moving in 1955 to Sowerby Bridge from where it was withdrawn on 25 November 1959 and cut up at Derby Works. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
