| Lot 462 | A smokebox numberplate, 42430, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2430 built at Derby in 1936. Allocated new on loan to Nottingham on 4 March 1936, its many later sheds included Rose Grove, Longsight, Rugby and Willesden from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 27 March 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 28 June 1965. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
