| Lot 416 | A makers plate, ARBEL-DOUAI, 1912, probably a wagon plate as this and other plate work was their speciality from their works in Douai. They built large hopper and tank and other special wagons in their thousands. They became Arbel-Fauvet in 1985. Cast brass, 10"x6½", cleaned but unpainted; a crack at the left bolt hole. £50-80 |
