| Lot 382 | A shedplate, 52A Gateshead (1949 to June 1965 for steam, May 1988 totally). By the end of the 1950s this shed had a star studded allocation of 90 locos, including 8 A4s, 13 A3s, 14 A1s, 4 A2s, 2 Antelope B1s and 2 named V2s. After closure to steam some of its diesel allocation carried this style of code, which were often made of brass. Ex loco condition. £100-200 |
