| Lot 380 | A tenderplate, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY (I), 75B, DUNDALK, 1904, from a 5ft 3ins gauge tender either built or refurbished at Dundalk. In 1904 two 4-4-0s (No. 88, VICTORIA, and No. 89, ALBERT), were constructed there using two 4-2-2s as a basis and it is possible that this plate may be associated with one of their tenders. Cast brass, 9¾"x6", the front cleaned but unpainted. £100-200 |
