| Lot 330 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 3824, from a 2884 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in September 1940. At Cardiff Canton by January 1948, its later sheds were Pontypool Road and Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn on 8 June 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Risca on 18 August 1964. Cast iron, in ex loco condition. £500-600 |
