| Lot 24 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6344, from a 53XX class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in March 1923. At Carmarthen by January 1948, its later sheds were Chester WR, Weymouth and Gloucester WR from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 9 November 1963 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 29 January 1964. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. £400-600 |
