| Lot 12 | A smokebox numberplate, 78008, from a BR standard Class 2 2-6-0 built at Darlington and allocated new to Oswestry on 30 March 1953. It moved the following July to Worcester where it stayed for nine years before moving in 1962 to Stafford Road and then Oxley from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 22 October 1966 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 21 January 1967. Ex loco condition. £400-600 |
