| Lot 2 | Worksplates (Steam)2089, Darlington 1949 (69008)A worksplate, 2089 DARLINGTON 1949, from a J72 Class 0-6-0T No 69008 built by BR to a North Eastern Railway design of 1898. Its later sheds were Tyne Dock, Goole, Hull Dairycoates, York, Heaton and Gateshead from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 and sold for scrap to T.J.Thomson at Stockton-on-Tees. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", the front lightly polished. £300-500 |
