| Lot 78 | Cabside Numberplates6394A GWR cabside numberplate 6394 from a 43XX Class 2-6-0 built by Robert Stephenson & Co, Works No 3826, in November 1921. Allocated to Taunton by January 1948 and later Tyseley, Reading, Exeter and Gloucester from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 13 June 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Risca on 18 August 1964. Cast iron, the front repainted, hairline cracks visible on the back. £250-400 |
