A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1944 SR, from a (LMS) Class 8F 2-8-0 built to Railway Executive Committee order. Those built by the Southern Railway in 1944 were (4)8661/2 at Eastleigh, (4)8663-70/75-78/81-704 at Brighton and (4)8672-4 at Ashford. Cast brass, 10½"x6", ex loco condition. £150-300
 This lot sold for £270 to bidder number 7343.
