| Lot 22 | Cabside Numberplates5336A GWR cabside numberplate, 5336, from a 43XX Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in December 1917. Allocated to Gloucester by January 1948 and later Oxley, Laira, St Philips Marsh, Severn Tunnel Junction and Taunton from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 5 September 1964 and sold for scrap to George Cohen at Morriston. Cast brass, repainted, the beading stamped Engine Class 260M, Boiler Class DG. £400-600 |
