A nameplate THE STAFFORDSHIRE REGIMENT (THE PRINCE OF WALES'S) from Class 45 D71, later 45049. Built at Crewe in November 1969; delivered to Crewe North and named without ceremony at Derby works in May 1966. Withdrawn from Tinsley in February 1988 and cut up by MC Processors in Glasgow in April 1989. The left-hand side plate, cast aluminium, complete with crest and backplate, 61" long, in ex loco condition. £10000-12000 |
