| Lot 81 | A smokebox numberplate, 40163, from a LMS Class 3 2-6-2T No 163 built at Derby and allocated new to Huddersfield on 16 November 1937. Its later sheds were Burton, Nottingham, Bristol Barrow Road, Hellifield, Lower Darwen and Southport from where it was withdrawn on 18 November 1959 and sold for scrap to Central Wagon Co at Wigan. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
