| Lot 79 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE CO, 26158, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1257 built in November 1947 which became BR 61257. Allocated new to Neville Hill, where it spent over eleven years, before moving to Thornaby and West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn on 4 October 1965 and sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckow at Blyth. Cast white brass, 13½"x5½", the front lightly cleaned. £150-300 |
