| Lot 443 | A worksplate, LMS BUILT CREWE 1943, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8169, later BR 48169, allocated new to Royston on 24 April 1943 where it spent all its working life except for a few months at Mirfield in 1959. Withdrawn from Royston on 4 November 1967, it was sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Cast iron, 10½"x6", repainted. £200-350 |
