| Lot 367 | A smokebox numberplate, 69001, from a J72 Class 0-6-0T built by BR at Darlington, Works No 2082, in 1949 to a North Eastern Railway design of 1898 with only detail differences. Allocated new to Hull Alexandra Dock on 31 October 1949, it moved the following year to Hull Springhead and later Heaton, Blaydon and Gateshead from where it was withdrawn on 23 September 1963 and cut up at Darlington Works. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
