| Lot 347 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6627, from a 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in February 1928. Allocated to Cardiff Cathays by January 1948 and later Merthyr, Reading, Neyland and Aberdare from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 9 November 1963 and sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Broughton Lane on 27 January 1964. Cast iron, a weld repair between the third and fourth numbers, the front repainted. £150-300 |
