| Lot 296 | A worksplate, BAGNALL, 2424, from a GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No 8727 built by Bagnall, Works No 2424, in December 1930. A long time Kidderminster engine, it moved in May 1957 to Gloucester and in September 1958 to Croes Newydd from where it was withdrawn on 2 April 1962 and sold for scrap to Central Wagon Co at Wigan. Cast brass, 8"x5¼", the front repainted. £200-350 |
