| Lot 290 | A smokebox numberplate, 44903, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 4903 built at Crewe and allocated new on 18 October 1945 to Carlisle Kingmoor where it remained until moving in June 1966 to Heaton Mersey from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 6 April 1968 and sold for scrap to George Cohen at Kettering. Repainted. £300-500 |
