A worksplate, ANDREW BARCLAY, 1271, 1912, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST which went new to Lochgelly Iron & Coal Co Ltd at Nellie Colliery, Lochgelly, their No 14, which became part of the National Coal Board Area No 1 in January 1947. Renumbered to No 1, it moved to Jenny Gray Colliery in about 1954, returning to Nellie Colliery in about 1959, moving finally to Glencraig Colliery in about June 1961 and scrapped in 1963. Cast brass, 16¾"x11¾", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
