| Lot 232 | A worksplate (in Cyrillic script) MINTRANSMASH (= Ministry of Transport and Machinery), USSR, KOLOMNA WORKS (named Kuibyschew after a Russian hero), 10166, 1954, believed to be from a 5ft gauge L Class standard 2-10-0 freight engine No A1261. The plates were handed and this is the left hand side plate mounted on the sand dome. Chromed steel, 30½"x10¼", in ex loco condition; the loco details painted on the back. £150-300 |
