A carriage panel from the GWR Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Royal Train, featuring colour-tinted photographs by Photocrom of WELLS CATHEDRAL and the ROMAN BATHS AT BATH. The panel, from coach 233 built at Swindon in 1897, is a superb and unique example constructed in sycamore and walnut with hand-carved corner flutings and gilded surrounds, each hand-painted title recessed into the frame. 22"x11". £1000-1500 |
