| Lot 193 | A GWR cabside numberplate 9707 from a 8750 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in November 1933, one of ten of this class fitted with condensing apparatus for working over Metropolitan lines. It spend most of its working life at Old Oak Common before moving in 1963 to Southall and the following year to Taunton from where it was withdrawn on 7 September 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Risca on 14 October 1964. Cast iron, the front repainted. £300-500 |
