| Lot 19 | A smokebox numberplate, 44349, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4349 built by Kerr Stuart, Works No 4377, in 1927. Allocated to Longsight by January 1935, it later spent most of its BR days there with spells at Alsager, Stoke and Warrington Dallam from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 3 July 1965 and sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Killamarsh. Repainted. £300-500 |
