| Lot 189 | A smokebox numberplate, 44146, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4146 built at Crewe in 1925. Allocated to Royston by January 1935, it moved the following year to Bath Green Park and spent the remainder of its life at either Bath or Templecombe working on the Somerset & Dorset Joint line. Withdrawn from Bath on 13 November 1964, it was sold to Cashmores at Newport on 12 January 1965. Repainted. £500-800 |
