| Lot 150 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, 24302, 1936, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2546 which became BR 42546. Allocated new to Bedford on 27 June 1936, it spent all its BR days at Rose Grove before moving in August 1963 to Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn on 1 April 1967 and sold for scrap to Campbells at Airdrie. Engraved brass, 6¼", the front lightly cleaned. £200-350 |
