A worksplate, No 2076, DONCASTER, 1950, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43069 allocated new to New England on 29 December 1950. It spent most of its working life at Hull Dairycoates with spells at Neasden, Holbeck and Bradford Manningham from where it was withdrawn on 4 September 1966 and cut up by Drapers at Hull in the week ending 17 December 1966. Engraved brass, 12¾"x6½", the front lightly polished. £200-350 |
