| Lot 102 | A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1319, 1936, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5264 which became BR 45264. Allocated new to Trafford Park on 23 October 1936, its many and varied later sheds included Bath Green Park in 1947 and later Cricklewood, Millhouses, Derby, Burton, Leicester MR, Saltley, Oxley, Tyseley and Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 16 September 1967 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Cast brass, 8¼"x5", the front repainted. £150-300 |
