| Lot 494 | A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 3109, from a 3ft 6ins Gauge Class 15F 4-8-2 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25993, in 1947. The class saw service in every system in South Africa and many were still working as late as 1984. Cast brass, 20¾"x14½", the front cleaned but unpainted. £250-400 |
