A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 4621, N.B. Loco, 1920, from a North British Railway Class C 0-6-0 No 111 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 22674, in 1920. It became LNER J37 Class No 9111 and was renumbered 4621 in 1946, becoming BR 64621. Allocated to Polmont by January 1948, it moved the following March to Parkhead and in December 1962 to Grangemouth from where it was withdrawn on 29 May 1965 and cut up at Inverurie Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", lightly cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
