| Lot 442 | A shedplate 2A Rugby (1935 to September 1963), then Tyseley (September 1963 until closure to steam November 1966). The ex LNWR shed at Rugby was home to around 100 locos in the 1950s. A handful of Patriots, Jubilees, Britannias and a solitary Princess Royal made up the 60 locos there during the 1960s, before it was recoded 1F. Ex GWR Tyseley was moved to the LMR in 1963 but retained GWR locos to within a few months of closure; Castles, Halls, and Granges being of note. Repainted. £100-200 |
