| Lot 346 | A smokebox numberplate, 48602, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8602 built to Railway Executive Committee order by the Southern Railway at Eastleigh and allocated new to Willesden on 16 April 1943. It moved in 1951 to Bescot and in 1963 to Stafford with a final two years at Newton Heath from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 8 July 1967 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 13 November 1967. Repainted. £300-500 |
