| Lot 325 | A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 1915, from an unidentified 5ft 3ins gauge locomotive built for the Great Northern Railway of Ireland. Those built in 1915 were SG2 Class 0-6-0, Works Nos 5896-5900, running numbers 180-184, S2 Class 4-4-0, Works Nos 5901-5903, running numbers 190-192, and U Class 4-4-0, Works Nos 5904-5908, running numbers 196-200. On the division of the GNR(I) in October 1958, locos from each of these classes were divided between the CIE and UTA. Cast brass, 9¾"x5¾", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
