A smokebox numberplate, 51212, from a Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway 1153 Class 0-4-0ST No 1232 built at Horwich in January 1894, becoming LMS Class 3F No 11212 and BR 51212. It spent all its BR days at Bristol Barrow Road from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 24 August 1957 and cut up at Horwich Works on 16 November 1957. The class were known as Pugs and this loco was chosen as the prototype for the well known Rosebud Kitmaster plastic kit. Ex loco condition. £800-1200 |
