A worksplate, SHARP STEWART, 4686, 1900, from a South Eastern & Chatham Railway Class C 0-6-0 No 714 which became SR 1714 and BR 31714. Allocated to Stewarts Lane by January 1948, it moved to Faversham in July 1951 and in June 1959 back to Stewarts Lane from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 5 August 1961 and cut up at Ashford Works. Cast brass, 9¾"x6", the front repainted. £250-400 |
