| Lot 276 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6113, from a 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in August 1931. Allocated to Slough by January 1948 and later Oxford, Old Oak Common, Didcot, Taunton, Radyr, Bath, where it briefly saw service on the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway in November 1964, and Gloucester from where it was withdrawn on 18 October 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 16 February 1966. Cast iron, the front repainted. £300-500 |
