| Lot 26 | A smokebox numberplate 3806 from a GWR 2884 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in August 1939. A long time Severn Tunnel Junction engine, it spent a final eighteen months at Banbury from where it was withdrawn on 11 November 1963 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Repainted. £250-400 |
