| Lot 257 | A brass 8" dial lever movement GER brass cased ships clock, dial lettered GER SS Antwerp, GER repair paper label on rear also stating SS Antwerp & Officers Mess. SS Antwerp was built in 1920 by John Brown at Clydebank for the Great Eastern Railway, employed on the Harwich to Hook of Holland service. Withdrawn soon after nationalisation, being cut up at Milford Haven in 1951. Complete with LNER key. £700-1000 |
