| Lot 236 | A worksplate, SHARP STEWART, 4643, 1900, from a Caledonian Railway 812 Class 0-6-0 No 858 built in August 1900, becoming LMS 17596 and BR 57596. Allocated to Corkerhill by January 1948, it moved in 1957 to Ayr from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and cut up by Arnott Young, West of Scotland Shipbreaking Co at Troon. Cast brass, 9¾"x6", the front repainted. £250-400 |
