A worksplate, HUDSWELL CLARKE, 1604, 1928, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST supplied new to Dyer & Co, London, as agents for the Lincolnshire Beet Sugar Co Ltd, Bardney Factory, Lincolnshire which was taken over by the British Sugar Corporation in June 1936. Passed into preservation in 1975 with the Peterborough Railway Society at Wansford, Cambridgeshire and currently located at the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway, Wetheringsett, near Stowmarket, Suffolk. Engraved brass, 13"x8", in ex loco condition. £250-400 |
