| Lot 197 | A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 61114, N.B. Loco Co, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1114 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25870, in January 1947. Allocated new to Kings Cross and later Hitchin, Gorton, Stratford, Doncaster and Immingham from where it was withdrawn on 16 September 1962 and sold for scrap to George Cohen at Rotherham. Cast brass, 9"x5", lightly cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
