| Lot 160 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 3395, from a 3300 Bulldog Class 4-4-0 named TASMANIA built at Swindon in January 1904, numbered 3457 when built but renumbered 3395 in 1912. Just surviving into BR service, it was withdrawn from Exeter on 9 August 1948 and cut up at Swindon Works. Cast brass, in ex loco condition, the original number stamped in the back. £1500-2000 |
