A worksplate, ANDREW BARCLAY, 905, 1901, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST which was sent new to James Oakes & Co. (Riddings Collieries) Ltd, probably delivered to Pye Hill Colliery at Riddings, Nottinghamshire as No 10. Later transferred to Coates Park Colliery, Derbyshire and became NCB property in January 1947. In 1949 it was transferred to the Brookhill Colliery and Railway System, Pinxton, Nottinghamshire and remained there until scrapped in late 1965 or early 1966. Cast brass, 17¾"x11¾", the front repainted. £200-350 |
