A brass nameplate, GOOLE STEAM SHIPPING-LONDON MIDLAND AND SCOTTISH RAILWAY, advertising the Antwerp to Goole services and displaying the LMS coat of arms and shipping flag. Engraved brass, 17½"x42½". The Goole Steamship Company was founded in 1864 and acquired by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1905, passing to the LMS in 1923, becoming part of the Associated Humber Lines in 1935. £300-500
