A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY 4812, DARLINGTON, 1929, from a LNER J39 Class 0-6-0 No 1418 built at Darlington in December 1929, renumbered 4812 in 1946, becoming BR 64812. Allocated to Darlington by January 1948 and later Blaydon, Gateshead, Tyne Dock and Sunderland from where it was withdrawn on 3 December 1962 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
