A worksplate, YORKSHIRE ENGINE CO, 2141 of 1926, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST which went new to Appleby Iron Co, Ltd, Frodingham, Lincolnshire as No 13. Taken over with the works by Appleby-Frodingham Steel Co, Ltd, in October 1934 and later renumbered 43. Repaired by the Yorkshire Engine Company in 1944 and 1948 and finally scrapped in October 1955. Cast brass, 11"x6", the front repainted. £150-300 |
