A worksplate, BAGNALL, 2442, from a GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No 8745 built in June 1931. Allocated to Westbury by January 1948, it moved the following July to Yeovil Pen Mill and in January 1959 to Yeovil Town, moving in November 1963 to Bath on the Somerset & Dorset Joint line, finishing its days at Gloucester from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 21 August 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 22 December 1965. Cast brass, 8"x5½", the front cleaned and lettering repainted. £350-500 |
