A worksplate, PECKETT, 823, 1899, from a standard gauge Metropolitan Railway 0-6-0ST No 102, one of two built to a standard Peckett design and used for shunting at Neasden, Harrow and Finchley Road. In 1933 it was absorbed into the newly created London Passenger Transport Board, becoming their No L54, and was withdrawn in 1961. Engraved brass, 10¾"x7¼", the front lightly polished. £300-500 |
